Mission Statement
Oscoda County Veterans Affairs assists eligible Veterans and their families with county-level programs and guidance in accessing federal VA benefits. Services include Veteran Emergency Relief (VER) grants, transportation assistance, burial benefits, recreation and wellness programming, and referrals to additional Veteran resources.

Services
- VA Benefits Guidance: Assistance with VA claims, pensions, survivor benefits, healthcare enrollment, and burial benefits.
- Veteran Emergency Relief (VER): Short-term emergency grants and support services, including Michigan Veterans Trust Fund and outreach for at-risk veterans.
- Transportation: Transportation assistance for veterans and qualifying widows to medical appointments.
- Recreation & Wellness: Programs focused on connection and well-being, including Veteran Coffee Socials, outdoor activities, and veteran wellness resources.
