The Duties of the Oscoda County Emergency Management
To serve as a liaison between local government, the State, and Federal agencies. Additionally, the emergency management office ensures that the Oscoda County Emergency Operations Center is maintained with a well-trained staff capable of providing Incident Commander(s) logistical and administrative support during the four phases of emergency management; mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery.
This office is also responsible for the coordination and implementation of Homeland Security issues within Oscoda County.
